Characteristic of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis genome of Beijing genotype of cluster 100-32 displaying pre-extended drug resistance

A whole genome sequencing was performed of strain M. tuberculosis 11502 (NCBI biosamples database, access code SAMN17832565) that assigned to the Beijing genotype subtype B0/W148 cluster 100-32, based on MIRU- VNTR loci (n = 24) structure, a nd t hat exhibited pre-extended d rug resistance. resistant isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol, levofloxacin, and ethionamide, which correlated with presence mutations in genes: resistance isoniazid – fabG1 promoter (p.-8T>C), katG (p.S315T), ethionamide ethA (deletion T at position 4 335 027 (gatgc-gagc)); fluoroquinolones gyrA gene (p.D94G); ethambutol embB (p.M306I); streptomycin rpsL (p.K43R). (Gen- Bank NCBI CP070338) contained 420 561 base pairs, 104 genes, 053 CDSs (coding proteins 3 874) differed from reference H37Rv by 2 055 mutations. slight drift towards G+C accumulation revealed, indicates importance maintaining high content Mycobacterium spp.genome Strain has higher number comparison previously sequenced 4860 (GenBank Access Code, NCBI: CP053092) belonging LAM (2055 vs. 1577 mutations), may be consequence longer circulation 11502, or some biological features providing promutagenic effect.
